Art deco green


Built on the site of a bookbinder, a jewellery maker, a clockmaker and a metal workshop – inspired by the local history of ‘making’. The Bindery is what office space should be.

  • Almost all construction waste recycled or reused, including carpet tiles, light fittings + furniture that was donated to a local charity

  • Natural ventilation simply provided by 14 openable windows on each floor – cleverly operated by bespoke winding mechanism

  • Latest zero-carbon technology: low energy water heating + lighting, photovoltaics, 100% green energy supply + smart metering

  • Timber floors sustainably sourced (FSC rated) European oak laid on recycled full access raised floor panels

  • Reception doubles as welcoming gallery – seamlessly leading onto a landscaped terrace – with focal steel sculpture by Eddie Roberts, crafted from salvaged building material

  • 5 beautifully designed outdoor garden spaces designed by Chelsea Flower Show “Best in Show” landscape designer, Andy Sturgeon – including 7th floor roof garden with exercise + relaxation areas

  • Bike-friendly: automatic rear gates provide seamless access to the courtyard, bike parking, maintenance area, club-quality showers + lockers

  • High uncluttered ceilings, calming natural palette + huge windows flood the space with light and views
