The art of green

Opened in summer 2021, Technique is the pinnacle of future-facing, thoughtful, human-centric office design. It has been built with a radical responsibility to the local environment and respect for people who work there. The building represents the potential for sustainability to be an art – rather than mere duty.

CLT structure built from sustainably accredited wood + super-performing glue = 43% reduction in CO2 emissions
Structural elements prefabricated off-site + assembled on-site = 70% reduction in site traffic
Over 21 tonnes of waste diverted from landfill: repurposed by hand into bricks to clad outside of building
BREEAM Excellent: a rare achievement for a refurb

1st floor gallery offers ideal communal space for yoga classes
Bathed throughout in superb natural light
To top it off, a 10,000 sq ft green roof providing a natural haven to socialise and take a breather
🎈Bonus feature
Volcanic ash from Mount Etna is used to create a luxurious, low-impact porcelain tile glazing. Now that’s what you call a hot feature.
